In the North of Budapest, the Danube changes suddenly orientation
to turn southward. It continues in this direction on all the length
of the Great Hungarian Plain.

Le lac Balaton:

Placed in the southwest of Budapest and 77 km in length, it is
the greatest lake of central Europe. It is one of the natural resources
of Hungary and attracts many tourists.
